What does a real estate agent cost in Amsterdam?

Most Amsterdam agents work with a commission, called courtage, of roughly 1% to 2% of the sale or purchase price, and rental assignments are often charged as one month of rent. More important than the percentage is what is included: valuation, photography, floor plans, the NEN2580 measurement report, the Funda listing, viewings and negotiation.
